"On Saturday 16th November 2007 our very own Bolton Chamber Choir gave a sparkling and exciting performance in the Parish Church. The main work on the programme was the Requiem by the French composer Duruflé, a relatively unfamiliar work, and Vivaldi's Gloria. Both were sung with great energy and spirit, with expert organ accompaniment, and the coldness of the night was soon forgotten. The audience was modest in size but appreciative, and let's hope the choir will have the audiences it deserves at future concerts in the town." — Audience member
